NLA to offer landlords free advertising through TheHouseShop

The National Landlords Association (NLA) has agreed a partnership with property marketplace TheHouseShop.

The website is now one of the NLA's recognised suppliers and will offer landlords a free tenant find service.

This is the first time the NLA's 70,000 landlords have been offered a totally free advertising service.

After relaunching in March 2015, TheHouseShop claims to have found a gap in the market as an alternative to the 'agent-only' portals.

The website boasts a Land Registry ownership verification process, which it says sets it apart from other classified ads sites where online rental fraud is rife.

“Being recognised by the National Landlords Association (NLA) has been a really proud moment for us and we can’t wait to work with the NLA’s 70,000 plus members and associates,” says Nick Marr, co-founder of TheHouseShop.com.

“Landlords are facing tough times at the moment. Profits are being squeezed from all sides, and that’s why we believe that our free tenant find service is more attractive now than ever before.”

According to a press statement issued by the organisations, TheHouseShop will also be working as an intermediary, introducing landlords to the NLA. 

NLA landlords who choose to advertise their properties on TheHouseSHop will benefit from free featured listings and will have the NLA logo displayed on their listings.
