The Welsh Government’s housing minister has tweeted that the results of a formal consultation process on a ban on agents’ fees levied on tenants adds weight to the introduction of such a measure.
Rebecca Evans has tweeted: “More than half of those who responded to our consultation support banning fees charged to tenants in the private rented sector. ... In December Letting Agent Today reported that the Welsh Government had confirmed a ban would be introduced - this new statement by the housing minister suggests it may be sooner rather than later.
