Large scale apprenticeship programme outlined by agency group

It’s now the annual National Apprenticeship Week and Leaders Romans Group has outlined how it’s opening up opportunities to newcomers to the industry.

It currently has six main apprenticeship schemes:

- Level 3 ARLA Propertymark membership – Level 3 Housing & Property Management – gains ARLA membership upon completion;

- Level 2 Junior Estate Agent;

- Level 3 Team Leader/Supervisor;

- Level 2 Business admin;

- Level 3 HR Support;

- Level 5 HR Consultant Partner.

Leaders says it offers apprenticeships that allow candidates to learn from peers and be involved in hands-on training.

Currently its most popular apprenticeship offering is the Level 3 Housing & Property Management which includes ARLA membership. This involves ongoing training in a business role and by the end of the programme the candidate will have the opportunity to implement changes in the business.

Typically, training and assessment lasts 15 to 18 months and all apprenticeships are available nationwide.

There is no required qualification except for Maths and English, but candidates will need at least one year of experience in the field relating to their chosen apprenticeship for Level 3 and above.

Dawn Avis, Leaders’ training and apprenticeship coordinator, says: “We are passionate about investing in our staff, and apprenticeships are fantastic for people of all ages and levels who wish to upskill in a practical environment.

“Candidates can expect to learn from their industry peers in a supportive environment, continuously put new knowledge into practice, and actually see the impact they have on the business. We greatly support the awareness that National Apprenticeship Week brings across sectors.”
