The Residential Landlords Association has been crowned the ‘Association of the Year’ at the 2012 Landlord & Letting Awards – for the third successive year.

RLA director Andy Burton also won Landlord of the Year, and its website gained a special commendation.

The award, which was received by chairman Alan Ward (pictured), crowns an outstanding year for the RLA, which has seen membership numbers reach a record 15,000.

Ward said: “The whole of the RLA is focused on service to our members.

“It is great to have the recognition of the private rented sector industry that it’s a job well done, and encourages us to keep striving to ensure the landlords’ voice is heard effectively in Westminster and every council in the UK.”
