Scottish based lettings acquisition vehicle Lomond Capital has revealed it is in advanced talks to acquire lettings businesses in Manchester and Birmingham.

The firm has just announced its expansion into Aberdeen with the purchase of lettings firm Simpson Brebner and K.W.A.D. Property Managers.

The deals mean that Lomond, which started its activities in Edinburgh last year, now has 900 properties and 20 staff in Aberdeen.

The firm has a £45m war chest for acquisitions and plans to consolidate the UK lettings market.
