London Estate Agents are being given a unique opportunity to shape the landscape of their industry’s future technology. In a drive by Cloud Computing service providers, London Cloud, property agents are being invited to participate in a Lunch, Learn & Development event, August 25th. The purpose of the event is to contribute ideas in the creation of a Cloud platform tailor-made for the sales & lettings business.
Cloud Computing, delivers a scalable infrastructure over the internet. It allows its users to access their desktop on any device anywhere, and is taking off in popularity across the capital. However the Property Industry is looking for something beyond the standard package. London Cloud’s Cloud Strategist, Kevin McCarthy: “Users of the Cloud are delivered a Windows 7 platform, much like buying a new computer. But we’re now hearing requests from Estate and Letting agents for the platform to incorporate their specialist third party applications. We want to create the ultimate Cloud platform for the Estate & Letting business.”
Belgravia’s Simmons Estates Managing Director, Henry Simmons: “We’re all at a point right now where Cloud computing is becoming an attractive proposition from a cost and productivity point of view. We lose productivity time when our sales force are out on the road or between appointments – an ipad with desktop access changes that, but to make that leap, we’d like programmes like RPS and other favourites to be accessible.”

Cloud is an excellent solution, Parachute IT have implemented a similar solution within both the Sales and Lettings arenas with great success in relation to cost savings and performance. Highly recommend a look at this.
