The Tenancy Deposit Scheme and Mydeposits have both won new contracts from the Government.
They will run from April 6 next year until 2018.
The TDS, which was the first deposit protection scheme, and was launched by ARLA, has been in existence since 2004.
Mydeposits was launched by the National Landlords Association.
In 2007, mandatory tenancy deposit protection was introduced.
From next April, there will be some changes in the regulations governing tenancy deposit protection.
From next month, the TDS will run an extensive briefing programme explaining the changes in regulation and operating procedures.

I don t think you have Pete
I think this maybe a scheme rule change rather than any legislative change. TDS love changing their rules so that they catch agents out and they dont have to pay for adjudication!!

Sorry if I've missed this - but what are the next set of changes ?
