Repairs software provider Fixflo - which last week entered into a partnership with The Property Ombudsman scheme and The Deposit Protection Service - has now also linked up with rival redress body PRS and with mydeposits.
The tie up allows Fixflo agent clients to send time and date stamped audit histories of repairs directly to the relevant dispute resolution teams at the PRS or mydeposits from within their Fixflo system.
“We have a shared interest with Fixflo in raising standards in the property sector. We now have over 4,000 members and nearly 10 per cent of our complaints relate purely to repair issues so for agents to have a robust system in place for repair requests to be reported and monitored is something I fully support” says PRS head of redress Sean Hooker.
“Our dispute service is evidence based and written evidence provided by our members is critical to resolve disputes fairly. If an agent is providing independently verified time and date stamped records which are shared by both the letting agent and the tenant it makes our job so much easier. It also helps to ensure our members provide robust, quality evidence” according to Suzy Hershman, head of dispute resolution at mydeposits.
