Leaders has just completed its biggest acquisition deal to date, taking its UK-wide branch network to 99.
It has acquired Derby’s agency IMS Lettings Limited, building on its recent purchase of Nottingham sales and lettings firm PWR and extending its network in the East Midlands.
IMS has been established for over 10 years and operates in Derby, Duffield, Belper, Borrowash and Long Eaton. All the staff have joined Leaders while IMS’s previous owner, Chris Griffin, has - in the words of the Leaders press release - “exited to focus on other business interests.”
Leaders’ acquisitions director, Matthew Light, says the company wants to expand across the East Midlands “by acquiring good quality businesses in those towns where we do not yet have a presence, as well as acquiring property portfolios to strengthen our established branches.”
Last year Leaders secured a £30 million expansion financing facility to support its continuing buy-and-build strategy. Leaders now has 99 branches across the UK.
