A portal is launching this week that claims to be the UK’s first helping landlords and letting agents reach students looking for accommodation in university cities across the UK.
Road 51 acts as an advertising platform for property management companies and sales agents, and unlike many portals it can also be used by private landlords.
Road 51 allows users to provide as much detail as possible about their properties, from the amenities available nearby, to detailed images and videos.
The portal’s founder, Bo Tsang – who owns a lettings agency and is himself a privaste landlord – is fluent in both Mandarin and Cantonese and says Road 51 will be particularly useful for incoming international students who are keen to live in private accommodation.
“My experience as both a student landlord and letting agent made it clear that there was a need for a platform that would allow landlords like myself to access this valuable market. Our website provides a cost effective solution for landlords looking to extend their reach” says Tsang.

Go Bo go ! Its a good idea, best of luck.
Yes, nice initiative. Best of luck!
Fantastic, innovative idea. I think this'll do very well. Quick tip to landlords and letting agents looking to target their properties towards students: their number one consideration is fast and reliable broadband; unsurprisingly, the student demographic needs good internet access more than most.
