Three agents have been announced as winners of The ESTAS Agent of the Month competition for June.
The Birmingham Central branch for Belvoir won the Letting Agent ‘Landlord’ category and Belvoir Christchurch took the Letting Agent ‘Tenant’ title.
Each of the agents secured their success courtesy of ratings from their clients who completed The ESTAS online survey rating the level of customer service they received from their agent.
“What a proud achievement this is for me and my team. It just demonstrates that customer service is an integral part of our business here and what makes the Belvoir brand here in Birmingham stronger and stronger and now the agent of choice” says Major Mahill, managing director of Belvoir Birmingham Central.
Meanwhile Jeremy Clarke, owner of Belvoir Christchurch says: “We take the attitude that landlords have entrusted us with their greatest assets – their properties! We instill this in our tenants from day one and encourage them to contact us with any issues. Working this way means tenants are not afraid to contact us and landlords are not surprised by large unexpected bills. Another benefit is that tenants generally ask us to find them their next home and we are then able to present a new landlord with a tried and tested tenant”.
Simon Brown, managing director at The ESTAS, says the monthly award “pitches the best agents, brokers and conveyancers in the UK against each other to find out who is the ‘Best of the Best’ for customer service. They’re all hoping to be shortlisted for the main ESTAS next April but we think it’s important that firms get recognition throughout the year as they strive to provide the best service they can to their client base”.
The Tring branch of Estate Agents Nash Partnership won the Estate Agent of the Month title for June.
The ESTAS take place every April and are presented by TV property expert Phil Spencer.
“I think it says a great deal about an agent who’s prepared to stand up and announce to customers and competitors that they believe in providing the best possible service and they’re happy to prove it. These awards help agencies to focus on customer service levels and that’s why so many take part each year” he says.
