The Channel Five series Nightmare Tenants, Slum Landlords - which ends its first series this evening at 9pm - has been commissioned for a second season starting next March.
The final episode in the current series features a case that causes one landlord to take the decision that his buy-to-let dream is over. Father of three Steve Bull bought his first buy-to-let property four years ago with the intention of his children benefitting from the investment in years to come.
But eight months ago a new tenant moved in; she was late paying rent from the outset and has now amassed rent arrears totalling over £5,000. As with other case studies in the series, the landlord instructs eviction specialist company Landlord Action to get involved.
The first series has attracted up to 1.5m viewers per episode.
Landlord Action will again be involved in the second series.

Oh joy of joys.
1.5m viewers per episode? I despair, I really do.
I really had hoped that this wouldn't be commissioned for another season!I would love to know exactly who is watching this tacky, presumptuous show.
