Suppliers to launch letting agent of the month award

Agency review site raterAgent has teamed up with lettings industry supplier Fixflo to launch a letting agent of the month award. 

Any letting agent branch can enter the monthly scheme for free, provided they encourage their landlords and tenants to leave reviews on raterAgent.

The monthly awards will start next month and will be judged by raterAgent’s review moderation team. 

The firm says that any fake reviews will be weeded out and that any branches trying to cheat will be disqualified. 

The volume and star-ratings of reviews from landlords and tenants alone will count, per branch, towards its overall score. The highest rated agent branch each month will get the trophy.

“As the service level expectations of both landlords and tenants continue to rise, we wanted to recognise the great contribution individual branch lettings’ teams make towards their companies’ overall service quality – and perhaps give an extra insight to some of the trials and tribulations overcome by the best lettings agents in the business,” says Mal McCallion, raterAgent ceo.

These awards were the perfect fit for our desire to highlight best practice, in an industry in which the headlines tend to be dominated by the small minority of agencies pursuing poor or illegal practices.”

The best reviews for lettings branches from August and September will be put together to determine the first winner and the trophy will be awarded at the end of September. 

RaterAgent has already trialled an ‘Estate Agent of the Month’ award, which has been won by branches of William H Brown and Thomas Marsh so far this year.
