Latest acquisitions take national agency chain to 100 offices

A trio of recent acquisitions has ensured a national agency chain not only records its best ever annual growth, but also tops the 100 mark for offices around the country.

Leaders finalised a takeover of Simply Lets Ltd in Worcester and Bromsgrove last week, shortly after purchasing Andrews Snape & Co in Bournemouth and Cullen Homes in Manchester during August.

“These acquisitions have added new branches in key locations in which we previously had no presence, as well allowing us to grow our portfolio in some of our existing markets such as Bournemouth and the Fallowfield area of Manchester” says Matthew Light, acquisitions director at Leaders.

Leaders acquired Simply Lets after its previous owner Jon Sugden opted to move away from the lettings business to pursue other interest

Bryan and Marlene Snape, former owners of Andrews Snape & Co, decided to retire after many years in the property industry. Leaders has acquired its lettings and property management portfolio and this will be integrated into the firm’s current Bournemouth office.

Cullen Homes, the trading name of CT Trading Ltd, was sold to Leaders and Its sales and lettings activities and portfolio have been absorbed into Leaders’ existing Fallowfield branch.

Leaders now has over 100 branches, employs in excess of 1,000 staff and offers lettings, sales and property management services.
