A residential property investment firm is using a speed-dating theme as the basis of a new TV advertising campaign to attract investors to its crowdfunding platform.
Property Partner has more than 3,500 investors and has seen £8m worth of buy to let investment since launching eight months ago.
Nearly two-thirds of investors have bought shares in multiple properties with individual investments ranging from £50 to more than £100,000.
The TV commercial, one of the first ever in the UK for crowdfunding, uses the idea of speed-dating to show how to build a portfolio of property.
The platform enables investors to offer their property holdings for sale via a designated secondary market. More than £1m of “resale” shares have already been traded this way.
The advertisement will have multiple advertising spots on networks including Channel 4, Sky Sports, Sky News, More4, Dave, BT Sport, Discovery and True Entertainment, and will target all ages from 25 years and older.
The TV exposure will be supported by marketing on Facebook, YouTube, Twitter and other online services.
