Beal’s, a 13-office independent in Hampshire, has snapped up another independent in the county, Baker & Elder in Southsea.
Currently Beal’s - the largest independent agency in the county - manages over 2,000 properties and 70 blocks of flats and the firm says it will operate a ‘business as usual’ system to ensure the transition is smooth for existing landlords and sales clients being integrated throught the acquisition.
Beal’s was established as a four office agency back in April 1995 after acquiring Britannic Estate Agents. and three years later was the first independent to have a web system, to allow browsing of all the sales and rental stock on the internet.
Beal’s services now cover lettings, sales, financial services, conveyancing, surveying and land and new homes. Beal’s Wealth Management has invested nearly £130m of clients’ money and offers a full financial planning service.
The agency says further acquisitions are in the pipeline.
