The number of properties across the UK categorised as To Let by board services company Agency Express has fallen 8.1 per cent in Febraury.
The firm uses an automatic board management system to track its boards and provide data for a new ‘Activity Index’ monitoring the market.
Looking at performance across the rest of the UK, five of the 12 regions recorded by the index showed increases in new listings To Let and eight recorded increases in properties Let.

Agency Express says a strong market was reported in the North East which saw a significant increase in To Let rising by 19.11 per cent, and properties Let by a robust 32.88 per cent.
The largest declines reported were in the East Midlands. Properties To Let there fell by 21.81 per cent and Let figures fell by 6.44 per cent.
