The Romans Group has moved into London’s zone 6 by acquiring Bennett Residential agency in Uxbridge.
Established in 1988, Bennett Residential handles sales and lettings. “Our business philosophy has always been to 'get it right first time' and our mission statement is important to all members of staff, as it truly reflects what separates us from the other estate agents in the area” says managing director Philip Bennett.
Romans now has 28 sales and lettings branches across Berkshire, Buckinghamshire, Hampshire, Middlesex, Oxfordshire, and Surrey, and its growth plans have led to other acquisitions in the area, including Bramptons in Beaconsfield and Gerrards Cross, Sherriff Mountford in Burnham, and Campsie in Windsor, Staines-upon-Thames and West Drayton.
Last month Bowmark Capital merged the two agencies in its portfolio - Leaders and Romans - to create an entity with over 40,000 properties, mostly in south east England. Bowmark acquired Leaders in 2010 in a £48m deal; it acquired Romans in 2013 in a £50m-plus deal.
