The burgeoning Build To Rent sector has received another shot in the arm with news that regeneration specialist Sigmas is setting up a partnership with Keepmoat.
The plan is for the new partners to deliver over 5,000 units at an estimated cost of £800m by 2021 with construction on the first site due to commence this summer.
The firms will deliver two, three and four bedroom properties in locations across the North East, Yorkshire and the East Midlands.
Sigma will manage investment and lettings while Keepmoat will procure the land and take the lead on the design, planning and building processes.
In 2015 Keepmoat constructed 4,000 homes.
