The UK Apartment Association - the umbrella group of Build To Rent suppliers, including some developers and operators - is starting a training programme which it says aims to show best-practice in attracting customers to the private rental sector.
The philosophy is focussed on customer service and brand-building.
“The importance of providing high levels of customer service cannot be overstated. As the UK rental market evolves, customers will become increasingly discerning and will demand a certain standard of service that is not currently being delivered” suggests UKAA chief executive Michael Green.
The course is delivered in four modules, each of which costs £3,000 for 12 staff, and taking half a day. Courses build to an accredited Institute of Training and Occupational Learning Certificate and UKAA says training is tailored for each company and delivered at their premises.
Delegates will be told how to deliver service to strengthen their brand, how to handle challenging customers and situations, and to undertake remote mystery shopping.
