Kate Eales has been appointed by Strutt & Parker as its new national head of lettings, moving across from Hamptons International where she managed 13 London offices.
During her 10 years at Hamptons, Eales doubled lettings revenue and tripled profitability in her offices, while also spearheading acquisitions and the opening of new offices.
“Following the acquisition of both Roberts Newby in Buckinghamshire and Edwards & Elliot in Berkshire and Surrey last year, both of which include impressive lettings businesses, we decided to create this new position” explains Charlie Willis, head of London residential at Strutt & Parker.
Eales started her career in the retail sector on the graduate training scheme at Harrods before moving to Foxtons in 1999, and then working for Chestertons where she became the firm’s youngest-ever area director overseeing a number of central London branches. She started work at Hamptons in 2006.
“There’s a huge opportunity to build on the strength of the brand, the people and the existing successful lettings business. I look forward to helping to lead the development of the existing business alongside looking at areas for growth and expansion” she says of her move to Strutt & Parker.
