The fast-expanding Nick Dunning Associates - which acquired London agency Stirling Ackroyd over the summer - has strengthened its leadership team with the appointment of ex-Countrywide figure Vince Corley as managing director for sales and financial services.
Back in February, Estate Agent Today reported that Corley was leaving Countrywide, where he was instrumental in several key acquisitions, integrating group services within the core estate agency business and developing the lettings branch footprint.
A second new senior appointment at Nick Dunning Associates is Stephen Wilson, who was in charge of managing and then selling estate agency and commercial property group, Stirling Ackroyd, for the estate of the late owner.
Backed by a leading private equity investor, Nick Dunning Associates launched in late 2016 with the aim of becoming a new scale player in the lettings agency sector, by purchasing letting focussed businesses in a buy and build play.
The firm has already built up a network of 34 branches through the acquisition of Badger Holdings Group in January, Adams Property in June and Stirling Ackroyd in July.
Expansion of the business is currently concentrated in London, within the M25, but strategically the firm is prepared to look at opportunities outside of this area.
“I’m delighted to welcome Vince and Stephen as managing directors. Both bring a wealth of expertise to our leadership team and they will be key in strengthening our position and continuing our successful expansion” says chief executive Nick Dunning.
