Manchester city centre-based agency Ascend Properties has acquired local independent company Living Quarter.
The deal will see Ascend’s number of managed properties rise to almost 2,500.
Since launching in 2014, Ascend has grown its team from four staff to over 40 and now have four offices. Earlier this year it launched its second branch in Liverpool city centre.
In total the company anticipates a £3.5m turnover in 2018.
Ged McPartlin, director at Ascend comments: “With this new acquisition, we’ll be propelled into a more suburban market, allowing us to extend our reach to beyond the city centre and continue to expand our offering.”
When he was 25 McPartlin acquired shares in Manchester estate and letting agency, Curtis and Bains, where he spearheaded the team to achieve an annual turnover of £1.5m before selling out to Countrywide.
