A leading legal firm is staging a free and interactive seminar on sub-letting, aimed at letting agents.
The event takes place on November 7 at 5.30pm in Ealing, west London.
Prince Evans Solicitors - a recent winner at the first ESTAS awards event for conveyancers - is organising the seminar with partners Anthony Best and Jeremy Teall leading debate.
On sub-letting the seminar will discuss why it is essential to check the leaseholder’s lease before subletting, what a landlord should ask for before giving consent, areas where it is unreasonable for a landlord to demand before giving consent, and whether AirBnB is allowed under a residential lease.
With the government discussing the establishment of a specialist housing court, the Labour Party proposing rent controls and councils wanting to extend licensing, the company also wants to trigger a general discussion on the private rental sector.
Following the presentations, those attending will have the opportunity to pose questions to the panel.
