An eviction company called Remove A Tenant has been the subject of a complaint after a Facebook post which implied tenants were household pests.
A statement from the Advertising Standards Authority says a number of complainants challenged whether this suggestion was likely to cause offence.
“After we approached the advertiser with these concerns they agreed that, in future, tenants would not be described in this manner” says the authority.

Tenants who don't pay their rent are pests to landlords, though... I mean, landlords aren't letting tenants live in their property for free.
Are shoplifters not pests to the likes of Tesco, Morrisons, etc? Why then are bad tenants not allowed to be considered pests?
If anybody is offended by being called a pest, if they were better tenants, it wouldn't be an issue
