The controversial landlord who made provocative remarks about some tenants leaving ‘curry smells’ in his properties is now complaining to the police about alleged social media abuse and To Let boards being vandalised.
Fergus Wilson, widely regarded as Britain’s wealthiest buy to let landlord, is quoted in London’s Evening Standard newspaper that as saying that the boards in question are near his properties in Kent, and carry statements including “I am a racist ****” beneath a photograph of him; another board carries the message "Racist, homophobic prick".
Wilson is also complaining about an apparent YouTube video in which he is accused of being racist.

It's not really the same as saying no smokers or pet owners though, is it? He is judging an entire race on the fact that they MAY leave curry smells. Now, I have been in homes where they occupants are immigrants from Indian/Asian areas where they have a strong and distinctive smelling diet, so I do know the smell he is referring to, and it is quite a pungent and clinging smell. However, that is not a reason to discount and entire race! Smoking and having a pet (other than a service animal) are lifestyle choices, and I don't really think eating food is... If an 'English' person moved into his house and ate nothing but fried foods, that would leave it's own clinging odour, along with grease on most surfaces, but I bet he wouldn't discriminate against 'English' food, would he?
