William H Brown, part of Sequence UK, has revealed it has snapped up another small independent - just days after its previous acquisition.
Its latest purchase is Harwich-based Cory & Co, established in 1981 and trading in the Harwich and Dovercourt areas and surrounding villages.
With founder Norman Cory retiring, William H Brown has acquired the lettings while remaining sales business will transfer into its existing Harwich branch. Three members of staff will be retained.
“This acquisition strengthens our position in the local market and fits our targeted approach of building our managed property portfolio,” says Mike Rowley, acquisitions director for Sequence.
Sequence UK says the purchase forms part of its wider expansion plans - and it wants any agency interested in being acquired to get in touch.
Last week we reported on Sequence UK acquiring Barnfields estate agents in Enfield, north London.
