An estate agency in Bournemouth has amended an advertisement after a complaint to a watchdog about the absence of any reference to VAT.
Simpsons Estate Agents displayed an online advertisement for a property to let; however, a complainant got in touch with the Advertising Standards Authority suggesting the ad was misleading because the fees made no reference to VAT.
The authority got in touch with the agency, which then amended the ad.
