Bob Parry Lettings, a north Wales agency, has removed a claim from its website concerning a plot of land, following a complaint to the Advertising Standards Authority.
A statement from the ASA says: “We received a complaint about a website which featured claims for a plot of land. It stated the advertiser did not have knowledge that any planning application had been made for the land. The complainant stated that planning permission had previously been rejected on the land and that they had informed the advertiser of this. As the claim continued to appear the complainant considered it was misleading.”
The ASA contacted the agency, which agreed to remove the claim.
The authority has now declared the issue to be informally resolved.
