Hostmaker, an Airbnb management company, has appointed ex-Chestertons manager Bradley Bartlett as its new head of corporate lets.
Bartlett, who was previously the head of corporate services at Chestertons, will be joining the company to lead its corporate branch and develop long-term rental services. He introduced short lets to Chestertons in 2015, which added £300,000 in revenue in its first year.
Hostmaker describes itself as a technology-driven hospitality management company that “takes the hassle out of managing short-term rentals for homeowners through a consistent, high-quality service.” It advises hosts on a range of activities from interior design to Airbnb profile descriptions, as well as handovers between tenants and pricing recommendations.
It currently operates in London, Paris, Rome and Barcelona – four of the largest global markets for Airbnb – supporting over 1,000 homeowners.
Hostmaker has received £10m in investment to date.
