The former owner of a lettings agency has admitted charges of fraud, false accounting and theft involving some hundreds of thousands of pounds.
Heather Crabb, who owned Plymouth-based Drake Homes from 2005 until it closed in September 2016, appeared at Plymouth Crown Court on Friday afternoon.
Regular readers will know that there have been several previous appearances by Crabb, who admits a charge of false accounting, two charges of fraud by abuse of position and two counts of theft.
Crabb now also admits a separate fraud charge of stealing from landlords and tenants between March 2015 and December 2017.
Local media in the south west also report that Drake’s former company director Jill Wood also pleaded guilty to the joint charge of false accounting and fraud at a previous hearing.
The pair will next appear in court on November 14 by which time there will have been discussions with the authorities on the precise sums involved in the crimes.
In previous court appearances Crabb had been accused of stealing £91,627.40 from tenants between March 31 2015 and April 1 2016, and of stealing £129,368 from landlords between January 1 2016 and December 31 2017.
