Two new PropTech products aimed at lettings agencies

Two new PropTech services launched, targeting the lettings industry.

Tenancy referencing firm FCC Paragon has launched MyMoveIn, an online platform that supports a tenant’s home move process by assisting with the setup of utilities, services and notifications, whilst simultaneously creating the opportunity for multiple revenue incomes for letting agents.

Via the referencing process, letting agents and landlords can direct their tenants to FCC Paragon’s MyMoveIn platform, where they can access free services such as links to their local council tax department, water and waste providers and HMRC.

MyMoveIn also offers contents insurance and media and broadband packages through partnerships with Virgin and Carphone Warehouse.

“We know in the current environment letting agents are searching for options and new opportunities to maximise profitability, despite the upcoming obstacles in the rental market. By using and promoting the MyMoveIn platform to their tenants and landlords, agents can benefit from a whole new income stream whilst offering products and services to tenants that have real integrity” claims MyMoveIn managing director Bryn Cole.

Meanwhile Arthur Online, a cloud-based property management platform, now allows users to list vacant properties for let directly on Rightmove and Zoopla.

It says the two portals automatically pull all the information needed for a listing directly from Arthur Online’s database including images, description, location and price, meaning users only have to upload this information once.

“As a property manager myself, I fully appreciate how hard it can be to manage a property portfolio and how much time it takes up – which is why Arthur Online uses an open application programming interface so it can easily integrate with market leading websites like Zoopla and Rightmove” says . Marc Trup, the platform’s founder.
