A short lets management firm claims Londoners who let their homes over the upcoming Easter weekend could bag themselves a small fortune.
Air Agents - a short lets management company that operates as a kind of agency for home owners who let their properties on Airbnb and similar platforms - claims that the average rental income for a three-night stay in London is over £500.
“The average zone 1/2 property in London on our database rents out for £180 per night, totaling £540 for the Easter weekend. At present, there are less than nine per cent of homes in the capital left to be booked this Easter, so you are almost guaranteed a rental income” claims Fran Milsom, co-founder of Air Agents.
Air Agents describes itself as “an ethical company ... working hard with local councils and the government via the Short Term Accommodation Association to help regulate the industry”.
The company was founded in October 2015 by friends Fran Milsom and Mark Hudson; it manages 200 properties throughout London with plans to increase this to 1,500 by the end of 2018.
