Fixflo is launching its fifth annual Rental Repairs Survey for lettings professionals
The survey, supported by ARLA Propertymark, gauges the opinions of lettings professionals around the UK to produce a state-of-the-industry report.
Last year 400 agents managing around 90,000 properties participated and Fixflo says it hopes to better that number in 2018.
The survey will run until Friday August 31 to give as many people as possible the chance to complete it and, potentially, win one of ten £50 Amazon vouchers.
The results create the Fixflo Report, a snapshot of repairs and maintenance processes across the UK. Input can be used to both benchmark maintenance processes against the wider industry and to clearly identify business challenges and opportunities.
This year, Fixflo is also launching the Landlord Survey, designed in a similar way to gauge the opinions and habits of landlords throughout the UK’s private rental sector. The results of that survey will be incorporated into the main Fixflo Report.
The Fixflo Reports have consistently uncovered interesting trends and statistics, with last year’s revealing that those using dedicated repairs and maintenance management software are likely to be able to manage more properties, and that despite more repairs being reported, agents were taking less time to resolve them
“This is a key insight into what agents are feeling about developments like the Tenant Fees Bill and the effect of GDPR. We encourage as many people as possible to complete the survey to help us compile the fullest possible picture about the current state of the industry” explains Rajeev Nayyar, Fixflo’s managing director.
