A branch of a regional agency has expanded its managed portfolio following its third acquisition in 18 months.
CJ Hole Cheltenham has taken over Cotswold Property Lettings' portfolio which is predominantly based in Broadway.
The acquisition includes the agency's leased premises in the centre of the historic Cotswold village.
"Broadway is about 15 miles north of Cheltenham and as we already manage a number of village properties in this direction, the acquisition is a natural progression to extend our service coverage," says Jeremy Prosser, managing director of CJ Hole Cheltenham.
"The property portfolio is of exceptional quality with long-established relationships between the previous business owner and his clients, upon which we hope to build," he says.
Kate Toland, managing director of Whitegates and Xperience at The Property Franchise Group, adds: "Jeremy and CJ Hole have built up an enviable reputation in Cheltenham over the past 24 years and the brand as a whole has gone from strength to strength in that time."
"It’s fantastic to see Jeremy and the Cheltenham team strengthening their position through acquisitions like this and I know they will continue to provide a first-class service for both their existing and new clients."
Toland says that the Property Franchise Group has over 100 branches on its acquisitions programme which are actively looking to purchase other businesses. She urges any agents thinking of selling up to contact the franchise agency.
