Registration has opened for the 2020 ARLA Propertymark Conference, with an early bird discount available to members until January 24.
The event, now in its 25th year, is taking place on Tuesday March 24 at ExCel London and ARLA is urging delegates to book early - the 2019 event sold out six weeks ahead.
The conference will include a roundtable debate on the proposed changes to Section 21, with viewpoints from an ARLA Propertymark representative, a landlord and politicians.
Separately - and with regulation on the horizon requiring all agents to be qualified - there will be a discussion on how agents can understand and implement recruitment and retention practices to ensure that they attract and retain the best talent.
Baroness Dido Harding, a previous chief executive of TalkTalk, will deliver a keynote speech about growing the business and turning the company around from Britain’s most complained about telecoms provider into an award-winning service provider.
The keynote speaker will be Mary Portas, known for her retail and business-related television shows including Mary Queen of Shops, sharing insight of how businesses and individuals can adapt, transform and lead.
“The conference presents delegates with an opportunity to hear the latest updates on legal and legislative changes, guidance on professional development, and of course to network with likeminded peers” says Phil Keddie, ARLA Propertymark president.
“Conference attendees feedback every year that it is a ‘must go-to’ event and that the learnings from the day are hugely beneficial for them. I am thrilled to be president for the 25th anniversary conference and delegates can look forward to another spectacular event.”
