North Wales agency Dafydd Hardy has snapped up small independent Smith & Wypler as part of a new growth strategy.
Smith & Wypler, based in Llandudno, was established 16 years ago and has been run by husband and wife team Jenny and Steven Wypler; the couple are now retiring.
“We are delighted that Dafydd Hardy is acquiring our business after our decision to retire. Both companies share the same fundamental values of customer service with an honest, reliable and professional service at all times” says Jenny Wypler.
This acquisition will see all the staff retained, the business relocated and its trading name come under the Dafydd Hardy banner.
An undisclosed number of managed properties are being transferred to the Dafydd Hardy portfolio, which will continue to be managed by the existing team in Llandudno with support from the chain’s four other offices.
“We are really pleased to have acquired Smith & Wypler which allows us the opportunity to further enhance an already successful business and work with many talented individuals. This acquisition is a good fit for our expansion plans and perfectly complements our new strategy going forwards” says company director Dafydd Hardy.
