Connells-owned Gascoigne Halman - the agency at the centre of the long-running legal dispute with OnTheMarket - has acquired the Rowcliffes lettings business.
Taking ownership of Rowcliffes’ two branches in Glossop and Chapel-en-le-Frith bring Gascoigne Halman’s network up to 20.
The 12 Rowcliffes’ staff will remain working for the new owners.
John Halman, managing director of Gascoigne Halman, is quoted on the Business Insider website saying: "The acquisition adds to our existing Whaley Bridge and Marple Bridge offices to provide us with the most comprehensive network of offices in the High Peak.
"We're also pleased to be welcoming 12 new members to the Gascoigne Halman team. I feel confident that with their local knowledge and experience they will fit right in and allow us to extend our quality service even further."
