Property Franchise Group brand Martin & Co has snapped up West Yorkshire independent agent Red Box Residential.
Martin & Co’s Saltaire branch, operated by Angela Newark, acquired Red Box’s managed portfolio of 144 properties and has also taken on the agency’s premises in Thackley, which will be rebranded as Martin & Co Thackley.
Newark - who ran a fish and chip shop prior to taking on her Martin & Co franchise 12 years ago - also runs Property Franchise Group stablemate Whitegates in nearby Keighley.
“Having spent six years building their business from scratch, it was important to them that it was handed over to a company with similar high standards and ethics. With the support of the Property Franchise Group, I’ve been able to grow my agency to become one of the largest in Bradford and one that also has a first-class reputation” says Newark.
