A regional property developer and investment firm has unveiled a Build To Rent division with a target of building 2,500 homes.
The division - to be called Core Living - is part of the Godwin Group and will build only BTR units. The first 500 will start work this month in Leicestershire, Yorkshire and the North of England.
Stuart Pratt, Group Development Director at Godwin, says: “Core Living is a new BTR focused brand, which has been created by the Godwin Group. From now we will be working with local councils and housebuilders alike to provide much-needed long-term rental accommodation.
“This will not only include the usual BTR apartments in city centres, but also the construction of family housing rental units in wider city and rural areas.”
The Godwin Group has offices in Birmingham, Nottingham and London, and plans to build BTR units across the country.
