London agency Stirling Ackroyd - owned by Nick Dunning Associates, led by senior ex-Countrywide staff - has snapped up another independent lettings book.
The agency has revealed that in February it acquired the lettings book of independent agency Caddington Blue.
The acquisition comes off the back of a string of acquisitions in 2018, including Lourdes, Bridge Estates and My London Home, which are now fully integrated into Stirling Ackroyd.
Stirling Ackroyd was purchased by Nick Dunning Associates two years ago, and the company is committed to tripling the size of its business over two years.
Meanwhile Stirling Ackroyd has attached itself to the green bandwagon by switching its fleet of branch network cars to more eco-friendly BMW electric i3 vehicles.
“The cars have been customised to suit the needs and requirements of its people and enhance their driving experience in London. They are greener than the current fleet, in a bid to lower emissions, and carry the logo ‘We Respect London’,” says a statement from the firm.
“Clearly as a nation we must do more to cut Co2 emissions, and we all have a role to play in that, including the property industry” says Vince Corley, the agency’s chief executive.

BMW i3 RRP: From £34,445 they must be doing very well indeed to buy a fleet of them, but at least the taxpayer can support them through free charging points!
