A new PropTech tool for agents claims to help weed out time-wasters and reduce the viewing-to-offer ratio.
Rental Passport, produced by LegalforLandlords, gives an appraisal of prospective tenants; this allows agents to see tenants’ financial position, references, and the likely timescale they are working to in relation to a move.
The tool - which is free for tenants to use - means renters can file details of their affordability, credit history, employment details and previous references in advance.
