A lockdown emergency webinar is to be held tomorrow to help letting agents get the regulatory and restriction lowdown on how to operate in the next four weeks.
Fixflo has organised the event, with a panel consisting of leading property lawyer David Smith, a partner at JMW Solicitors; and John Paul, chief executive of The Castledene Group and an ARLA Propertymark board member.
Smith will major on the legal constraints that exist for agents until December 2, while Paul will discuss the practical considerations of operating a business during lockdown.
The webinar will be chaired by Rajeev Nayyar, Fixflo’s managing director.
“With little detail published following the Prime Minister’s announcement of another national lockdown, many have resorted to using Twitter to get clarifications from housing minster Robert Jenrick” says a statement from Fixflo.
“With emojis and snappy lingo, the minister offered some much-needed clarity on house moves, repairs and maintenance works and construction; these can all continue to take place during the lockdown as long as those involved follow Covid-safety guidelines. But as with last time, there are many more regulatory and practical points to be considered, and it will likely take more than 280 characters to clear these up” the statement adds.
The webinar is tomorrow at 12 noon - you can sign up here and submit questions by emailing research@fixflo.com.
Webinar attendees can also pose questions directly to the panel in an extended Q&A session as part of the hour-long webinar.
