A newspaper claims that a short lets management firm that handles properties let on Airbnb and similar platforms is scrambling for new funding - and its parent firm has filed a notice to appoint administrators.
The Sunday Times says Hostmaker - which handles online listings and day-to-day property management services for owners who let out rooms or whole houses on short let platforms - faces “a cash crunch” despite having raised £23m in two fund-raising rounds since its launch six years ago.
The paper says Hostmaker has lost over £20m in the past three years.

I’ve known something was up for the last 2 weeks since I hadn’t been paid. They’ve taken two months of bookings and money from AirBnb for my property and I have not seen any of that money.
Probably wont either. If they lost £20M in the last 3 years you should write this off as a loss and learn from the error. Go to your property and turn the punters away since you have not been paid and if anyone else out there has the same problem they should join you. Good luck.
