The Bournemouth branch of Martin & Co has acquired a local independent agent.
Bullock & Lees, a local south coast firm, has been taken over by Martin & Co Bournemouth, owned by Philip and Monica Skorochod since 2018; the couple have already taken over another independent, Paris Lettings.
The branch will also relocate from into Bullock & Lees’ premises from the end of this month.
The outgoing managing director of Martin & Co at national level, Ian Wilson, says:“This acquisition is bitter-sweet for me as the Old Christchurch Road premises were where I first started with Martin & Co in July 2003.
“However, the Skorochods have driven the Bournemouth business with gusto since they purchased it in 2018 and it’s a great decision to relocate to Southbourne as this will give the business a wider catchment area and propel its next growth spurt.”
