The classic winter time arguments between tenants and agents over what is damp and what is mildew can be resolved by more detailed and professional inventories.
That’s the view of Nick Lyons, chief executive of inventory supplier No Letting Go.
He says winter and its effects on a property bolster the case for a detailed inventory, as do the plethora of changes going on in the lettings industry now - stricter alarm rules, longer tenancies and more regulation.
“Inventories protect the landlords, protect the letting agents, and making sure you’re compliant” says Lyons, in a video interview with Angels Media’s Lee Dahill.
