Ascend Properties in Manchester has acquired another small independent agency.
It’s snapped up Elavace Estates, a lettings management portfolio on Merseyside.
This follows acquisitions of NW Estates in Warrington in February and then Rent Smart UK in North Manchester in March.
As with previous acquisitions, Ascend is retaining staff and the customer-facing aspect of the Elavace operation.
Ascend managing director Ged McPartlinn says: “Our goal is to own and manage 10 estate and letting agency branches and 11,000 properties under management by the end of 2022.
“We’re well ahead of schedule to meet that ambition and will have further announcements shortly. We are also interested in speaking to any smaller independent letting agents that are considering an exit or part-sale this year."
