Industry growth specialist Christopher Watkin is to offer letting agents his secrets to attracting new landlords in a live webinar hosted by PropTech firm Goodlord.
The event takes place next Wednesday August 25 at 9.30am and covers how letting agents can attract landlords without a hard sell, how they can establish themselves as the authority in their local area, and how to utilise social media to market their businesses without a huge financial outlay.
Watkin will be joined by Goodlord's director of insurance and former letting agent, Oli Sherlock.
Watkin comments: “These tips and techniques have been honed following decades in the industry. By following this advice, agents can increase their rental portfolio by up to 200 properties in just two years, at little to no cost.
“At a time when stocks are low and many agents are anxious about the strength of their portfolio, it’s vital that all businesses are exploring new ways to attract and retain landlords for the long-term.
"It will involve hard work, patience and going outside your comfort zone, but it’s very much within the grasp of all agencies.”
This will be Watkin's second webinar with Goodlord this year - 1,000 lettings professionals registered for his first master class at the beginning of 2021, with hundreds more watching on-demand since.
Sherlock says: “It's an incredibly competitive market, with landlords facing increasing pressure, so it is crucial that letting agents are able to clearly communicate the value of their proposition and find new ways to get an edge on their competition."

Describing Watkin as a guru is stretching one’s imagination to the say the least. He operates on the periphery as a hired hand. That isn’t a guru.
