The Keller Williams UK agency has launched an online learning platform for agents called KW University.
A statement from the company says the platform “uses gamification and community engagement together with feedback and comment tools to share best practice” as well as providing learning modules covering agency basics, business development, sales skills and compliance together with ‘how to’ guides for KW associates.
The University platform complements Keller Williams’ existing classroom training with on-demand videos and online education.
KWUK chief executive Ben Taylor says: “With nearly 500 associates now in place across the UK, I am delighted to launch KW University which will provide a continuous learning environment that we know will be a ‘game changer’ in how our agents learn and develop, individually and together.”
KWUK regional director Mark Readings adds: “We are proud to provide the most advanced and comprehensive training in real estate across the globe. The investment in this platform reflects our commitment to our agents and our desire to support them in growing their businesses.”
Trade press reports suggest the agency has had a challenging time in recent months, parting company with the high profile Russell Quirk, who in addition to being a partner in a local KW franchise also handled the agency’s publicity in this country.
In late August it was announced that the KW Warwick franchise was closing down, while back in the spring KW Optimum - the franchise based in Bristol - was put into liquidation.
