Another independent agency snapped up by franchise giant

Yet another independent lettings agency has been acquired by the Martin & Co brand of The Property Franchise Group.

The owner of Martin & Co’s Folkestone branch has grown his business by almost 20 per cent after completing a third independent acquisition.

Dennis Roodhardt of Martin & Co South Kent, completed the goodwill purchase of more than 50 properties from Castles Lettings.

This takes Martin & Co Folkestone’s managed portfolio to just under 400 properties.

Roodhardt says: “I’m absolutely delighted to complete this purchase from Castles Lettings – a company that has been a staple of the Folkestone lettings market since 1987.

“Castles’ ethos very much matched our own when it comes to strong customer service.

“Our aim is to provide their landlords with that same high level of service, alongside the brilliant systems we have in place to effectively manage this portfolio of excellent properties.”
